Welcome and thank you for visiting Love and Confections! I started Love and Confections as a creative outlet. I immersed myself into a baking and pastry degree and wanted to learn food photography as well. Love and Confections grew from there. I have always had a love of sharing meals with my family and friends and truly love feeding people. I created #Brunchweek for that purpose. Brunch is one of those great meals that can be as simple or elaborate as you want. It is one of my favorite meals because it can be a mix of both sweet and savory – sometimes I can’t choose between the two and have to have both!
About Terri
I grew up in an Italian-American family. The kitchen was the heart of the house, and the activities in the kitchen were the heart of our family. Memories that I will forever treasure happened in a kitchen – either my mother’s or one of my grandmothers’.
My mother is an amazing cook. She had home-cooked meals on the table almost every night. My father’s side of the family ran an Italian Food wholesale business that my great-grandfather started after coming to America. Even with as much time as I spent growing up in and around food and the kitchen, I didn’t realize it would one day be my career.
I love cooking for my family, making desserts and practicing my pastry skills. I am always ready for travel and to explore new places, eat at great restaurants and have fun. Join me on my journey through Love and Confections!
